Olivia named her rapist as her cousin John, causing a huge rift in the family, and forcing Bendu to leave her village. We traveled there to hear families side of the story. This is the first time she has been back in over a year.
During production Olivia and her mom were living in the birth ward of JFK hospital since they had no where else to go. We spent time there every day, filming or not.
